Brief

I took a well-known internet format, the vlog, and gave it a twist. Every Inés Palacios vlog was driven by the need to try something new or discover something amazing. In these two examples, I talk about locations: one is the Levi's store that opened in Mexico City's Centro, and the other is an Amazon fulfillment center. Both videos were made during the pandemic.

My role

The most important part of these campaigns was translating the brief into an entertaining vlog for the audience that already watched the shows. The era of traditional advertising is over, now it's about telling a story that hooks the audience.

Process

I received the brand's brief and turned it into an outline with key points, memorable lines, and facts to mention. For Levi's, that meant the opportunity to personalize your T-shirt. For Amazon, it was about health and safety conditions during the pandemic and the fair treatment of their employees. Each campaign took a full day of filming and a week of post-production.

KPI's

Each video reached 100K views, and both brands were satisfied with the final product. Each of these brand mentions cost 200,000 pesos, sustaining an entire production team on a monthly basis.
